2016: A Year In Review: Part I

The British playwright, T.S Eliot once said that to make an end is to also make a beginning. As this year draws to a close, we look back on all the fascinating conversations to do with art, artists and about life itself that we had on Artflute during this past year. In celebrating all that has passed, we make space for things that are to come.

Our regular series Framing The Artist featured talented contemporary artists from all over the world. We peeked into their studios and their heads to reveal their creative process and everything that inspired them. From Mukesh Salvi’s infectious enthusiasm for bringing alive childhood innocence to Alejos Lorenzo’s journey from being an architect to a full-time artist who creates stunning paintings, we loved opening up the new worlds of artists and their practices to you. Our readers loved Vikrant Shitole’s boundary-defying style and Dinkar Jadhav’s grit and perseverance that has led him to where he is now.
